Memorial Day is approaching and the weather is finally breaking. As I have a fair amount of maintenance, exterior cleaning and misc to-do’s that I’m working to complete, you can expect that I’ll be visiting most houses more frequently over the next few weeks. If you have any other requests before you arrive, please let me know as soon as possible so I can ensure they get completed in time!

Break out the furniture. I’ll be setting up all exterior chairs, grills and tables this month and thought it’d be a good time to talk about upkeep.

Now vinyl’s easy. Spray it or wipe it down and you're good to go. But every couple of years, teak and mahogany should get some love, too. When the sun and weather hit your wooden chairs or tables, they silver, become rough to the touch and eventually begin splitting. A wash, light sand and seal will go a long way in preserving them. Something I’m happy to do for you this summer!
